For most swab-based panels, results are available in ~30 minutes when the IFU is followed.
Not for many swab workflows. UlfaQ™ chemistry supports direct amplification from clinical swabs. For complex matrices (e.g., faeces, blood/CSF), we recommend using the UlfaQ™ Automatic Nucleic Acid Extractor.
Depending on the panel: deep pharyngeal or conjunctival swabs, nasal/oral swabs, faeces, blood, or CSF. Always follow the panel IFU for sample guidance.
The UlfaQ™ Quality Control kit includes a Sample Processing Control (SPC), a Positive Control (PC), and a Negative Control (NC) to validate run integrity.
UlfaQ™ reagents are lyophilised for simple handling and transport. Store and use as directed in the IFU; once rehydrated, run immediately.
